His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, concluded an official visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, during which he headed a high-level delegation from the industry and mining sector. The visit aimed to strengthen bilateral economic ties, develop joint cooperation in the industrial and mining sectors, and explore mutual investment opportunities in several strategic sectors.
During the visit, Mr. Al-Khorayef met with Vietnamese government officials, including His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Industry and Trade. Discussions focused on ways to deepen relations between the two countries in the industrial and mining sectors and enhance cooperation in research, innovation, and advanced manufacturing technologies, including artificial intelligence.
His Excellency also held bilateral meetings with leaders of major Vietnamese companies and institutions, including the Vietnam Association of Foreign Investment Enterprises, VinFast, Masan Group, and Southern Food Corporation. These meetings addressed expanding investment partnerships and technology transfer in several promising sectors, including mining, electric vehicles, food processing, and halal products.
